FORECASTING TRENDS IN PARIS

I collaborated on a creative team project and photoshoot with Anna Barr, editor of Fucking Young Magazine, during a course at PAA for this photo. We learned about writing copy and marketing concepts for luxury brands. Some of the work was featured in Vein, a couture fashion magazine.

We created a marketing strategy for Telfar’s popular line of unisex bags. These bags are considered luxury, but are affordable for the average buyer. We set up a photoshoot at Garden du Luxembourg with disposable cameras to get a gritty vibe. The bags were shot in unpretentious settings to support the brand message of the bags being “For Everyone”

Another concept that came out of this ideation was a campaign using the zodiac signs, to show that no matter your birth month, there is a bag for you. The ad concepts below leveraged photos of celebrities that publicly support the brand, such as Beyonce, Selena Gomez, and Ashton Sanders.

DESIGNING SUSTAINABLE HOUSEBOATS FOR AMSTERDAM

Paris American Academy’s intensive design program included lectures, workshops and visits to Parisian architectural sites (both historical and contemporary), as well as to furniture and fabric exhibitions. As a scholarship recipient, I learned techniques of drawing and modeling, visual representation, and presentation were analyzed while developing my personal design methodology and representation style. I presented written content, vision boards, and Sketchup designs for an interior floating house design project.

REBRANDING anD PRODUCTION – SANTA FE, NM

TRANSFORMING SMALL BUSINESS TO FINE ART STUDIO PRODUCTION

At KEB Studios, I collaborated with stakeholder and owner to help transform a faux paint interior design studio into a fine art painting studio production business. I was responsible for vision planning, content development, copywriting, marketing and design. I led a massive studio reorganization and helped install her work at Maison Smith, a luxury home design boutique specializing in 17-19th century pieces and eclectic objets-d'art.

Content creation, vision-planning, website work

I also worked hands-on with interior design projects as lead designer. Most projects were for luxury homes or commercial properties. I helped with extremely detailed projects including this chandelier project in Los Campanas, an affluent neighborhood in Santa Fe.

PRODUCING WELLNESS IN CHICAGO

I renovated and designed Lotus House, a 1,000 sq. ft storefront industrial workspace in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. I strategized a 360 marketing plan and created a wellness center — the largest LLC providing authentic Thai massage by western practitioners in the Midwest. Most practitioners and educators had trained in Thailand with the world-renowned healer and teacher, Pichest Boonthume.

Check out my 5-second video below to enjoy my transformation of a metal smith studio into a sparkling wellness studio. Voilà!

User REsearch – Skyscanner case study

impactful insights through UX research

In order to better understand the user experience, how to identify “jobs to be done” that lead to more impactful results, in spring 2024 — I took a UX Research Bootcamp course through Memorisely. I built my confidence in planning, conducting and synthesising research with the support of Ai. Here is my case study report for Skyscanner, a travel booking website and app.

Skyscanner is a travel search aggregator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Available in over 30 languages and used by 100 million people per month, the app lets people research and book travel options for their trips, including flights, hotels and cars. After screening users through surveys, I conducted interviews and discovered insights by synthesizing data.
